good news
This morning, Scott's phone rang. I heard him say "really? oh, that's great! congratulations!" I laid there in bed trying to think what it could be. My first thought was that my cousin got engaged...yippee! My aunt found a fabulous new job? Someone had a baby? Dawn? Shannon? Maybe my brother got the Hinkley scholarship. Maybe my sister is expecting. Maybe my brother in law got into a graduate school he wanted. Everyone I know is on the verge of having something fabulous happen to them. It could have been anything. But it was a call to let us know that Dawn had her baby, and that it is a girl. That is good news indeed.
